Media personality and former presidential spokesperson, Reuben Abati, says the recent calls for President Goodluck Jonathan to run for President in 2027, is a vindication for him. While speaking on Arise TV this morning April 9, Abati, who served as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to Jonathan when he was in office, said shortly after Jonathan left office, he was hounded, and all those who worked with him were called all kinds of names while his family were harrassed by the Buhari administration. He mentioned that the calls for Jonathan to run again now has shown how God disgraced all of the former presidents enemies and restored his reputation that the proverbial locust worms'' ate shortly after leaving office.This is vindication for President Jonathan. When he left office in 2015, he was hounded, his family was harassed by the Buhari administration, those of us who worked with him were called all kinds of names. You will think Nigeria has disappeared from the surface of the earth but since 2015, we have seen the resurrection' of President Jonathan, the triumphwe have seen God Almighty putting his enemies to shame and the restoration of the years that the locust are in terms of reputation of that administration and the people that worked under that administration. Now you hear people say Jonathan is the solution of the future of Nigeria.It depends on President Jonathan himself. He has not shown any enthusiasm but he is in a safe place in terms of the fact that his credentials as an elderstates man is well recognised.''
